A Solid Foundation

Wagner Electric Corporation has been in operation since 1959, when Ron Wagner turned his vast experience in industrial, commercial, residential renovation and new residential wiring into the foundation of Wagner’s current success. Adding many creative talents to the mix, Carole Wagner devised communications systems that kept the field, office and other contractors in touch, ensuring smooth project management on each job.

Now more than 40 years later, the company is run by their son, Richard, who carries on the talents, work ethic and drive for excellence of Ron and Carole Wagner. Richard has surrounded himself with a staff of very dedicated professional employees who help in the quest to continue to contract work for larger developers while maintaining a solid platform of growth for the company. Through this approach, contracting work for larger developers has become a niche in residential electrical wiring for Wagner.

While Carole has retired, Ron has gone on to build a very successful lighting showroom and electrical supply company. In 1985 Arch Lighting Showroom and Supply opened its doors. The establishment of Arch Lighting showroom has created a strong trade partner for Wagner Electric, enabling their homebuyer and builder customers access to an impressive selection of standard and upgrade fixtures from manufacturers such as Progress, Seagull, Quorum, Kichler, Minka-Lavery, Classic and Shoenbek, among others.

Also contributing to the substantial growth and success of Wagner Electric is our sister company, Integrated Home Technologies. Formed in 2000, Integrated Home Technologies was established by the Wagner team to provide our builder and homebuyer customers with the opportunity to fully integrate their homes with the low voltage product lines that include structured wiring systems, security systems, computer and telephone networks, TV and video networks, whole house audio systems and home theater systems. This strategic decision was made to better meet our customers’ growing needs for high-tech home systems.

The creation of Integrated Home Technologies has solidified our place in the industry as the leading wiring specialist for both low-voltage and line voltage systems. We strive to provide expertly installed systems in every home that not only increase value, but also add convenience, comfort and satisfaction for the homeowner.
